Another season coming down to the wire, there are only 4 games left and 3 of them are divisional games. I do love how the schedule is setup to add intensity down the final stretch.
As it is every year there are a few teams that appear to be in good shape, but in this league just don't know until the final whistle of the last game played in week 14 who will be going to the playoffs.
I do know you better start the right players if you want a chance. After 10 weeks I've got some updated stats on that, just blows me away how hard it is to start the right players.
Congratulations to Chiefs Chick, Millertime, and Sleepers. Of the 120 lineups posted this season only 3 have been correct. Think about that, 12 teams, for 10 weeks and only 3 times were all 8 starters correctly picked..... WOW!!!
Millertime (week 4)
Chiefs Chick (week 7)
Sleepers (week 10)
There have been 4 games where 100 or more points were scored. If everybody started the right players every week there would have been 25 games with 100 points or more scored.
OMG, I feel stupid
The league is averaging about 17 points per team, per week in points lost because they started the wrong player(s). That is some serious points being wasted.
Collectively, as a league week 6 was our best performance we only lost 7.5 points per team.
There have been 9 games lost because somebody started the wrong player(s). Happens just about once a week, and heading down the stretch that will make a big impact as to who goes to the playoffs, and who stays home.
Will you be the genius who figures out how to start the right guys? If you are, then punch your ticket to the playoffs.
Good luck everybody!
