the rangers started off strong, led the division for most of the firts half of the season. now 3 games back after the all-star break, can they pull up enough to take the division? is winning the division the only hope they have to making the post-season? reguardless they have given us the most exciting season thus far. i'm behind them and hope to be just as excited in late september.

The Rangers season is over, and this year the fans were treated to a few extra months of competitive ball. Finishing 87 - 75, and pretty much in the race until late August.
Thanks for sparing me the boring reruns this summer, the games were exciting and fun to watch

Wow.
I love me some football, but these Rangers are for real. Just watched Cliff Lee pitch 9 innings, 5 hits, 13 strikeouts, 0 walks, and ZERO earned runs. As great as he was the Ranger bats were quiet and the game was tied at 1-1 when he left the game and did not get a decision....wtf?
Nellie Cruz finished off the A's with a 2 run shot in the 10th.
Wow

the sad thing is, when cliff pitches he gets no run support. in four starts the rangers have 9 runs. thats right at 2 runs per game. if i was cliff i would be pissed.
